Part of my day job involves exporting to China in shipping containers. Danish shipping line Maersk recently had a temporary closure on it’s backhaul route to Asia, and when it re-opened it annouced it would introduce super-slow steaming to reduce fuel costs, resulting in a journey time slower than the tea clippers of the eighteenth century.
Sounds like a prime Target for pirates.
